Because most medicine and health courses are regulated by medical and health boards in Australia, you will need to have your Australian qualifications assessed in your home country when you return to your home country.
You may need to undertake an exam, a criminal history check as well as prove your language skills and then apply for a practising licence. Before undertaking a professional health course in Australia, please check the registration requirements of your home country.
Graduates of many of our degrees are eligible to apply for registration as a health professional in Australia.
